This is about a lady who comes home smelling good and romantic; the reason why she is al ways smelling is because her job is to test and make nice scented candles. She is a researcher and development chemist at Illume, a candle manufacturer in Bloomington, Minn. The company is a hand crafting, vibrantly colored candles that give off fragrances even when not lit. She “loves candles” says follis and she always gets them free because she makes them her self. Now that she has dun something great in her life she says that she wants to be a nurse in a hospital when she has the time.

Everywhere a Sign

This about people that has disabilities in hearing or speaking. Now there are trained professionals that are willing to help these people with disabilities for those who that cant hear or speak. There are about 28 million Americans are deaf or hearing impaired. 10 percent of the U.S. population needs assistance, why because they want to be like normal people and do things that other normal people can do. There are things they would like to do; like education, health services, and more. When word got that the deaf and unspeakable were asking desperately for help in getting through in their lives.
Deaf are being thought a lot these days; like business, social service, arts, legal, and medical. These are being used for nation’s court, witnesses or jury members who are deaf need precise interpretation. Adults are not the only ones having trouble hearing or speaking, there are children that have a same as adults. The children are thought by stories, professional interpreters, and through TV. Professional sign language interpreters go through colleges to how to interpret for people and some that didn’t go to learn it already because they might have a deaf or non-speakable person in the family.

Prescription for Success

This is about being a pharmacist and how important this job really is to helping people that are taking prescribed drugs. It takes a lot of years to be a pharmacist and here are some facts on how to become a pharmacist:
Education and training- five to seven years of college, pharmacists go for two to three years of a degree program.
Most important of pharmacists- there are people that are in laboratories working with the effects of the drug,
Skills- math is the most important in giving drugs to people that are prescribe to them and the pharmacist must also know math themselves.

Risky Business

Summer break is when young teenagers are job hunting and that wouldn’t care about the hazards that you might approach. All they care for is money in there pocket for the summer. No matter how risky the job is or how safe it is, there an estimated of 70 teens that died during there summer job. Young workers or minors think that nothing going to happen to them like sun exposure, accidents, or even crime that won’t affect them. Also if that does happen they will think twice of choosing a next job that will be safer for them.
Here are some jobs that you might choose during the summer or any time: Restaurant Jobs- from drive through to fancy restaurants for a teen worker. You could get a job those bests for you; like host, waiter, cook, dishwasher or cashier. There are things in the restaurant that you should look out for like spills, hot stuff, and slow down.
Outdoor jobs- working as a lifeguard, a camp counselor, or an amusement park employee, there are elements that are a health hazard like communicable diseases, sunburn, and heat exhaustion and dehydration. Those are the things that you should look out for in any kind of job for the summer.

Everybody loves playing video games, I love it. Now there are colleges and companies that get paid and design video games. It takes a lot to be a game designer, because there are a lot of features in gaming these past 59 years of video gaming. Creating one single video game takes a lot of work, you need people that are willing to help you, and these are the people that you need: artist, animators, game designers, computer programmers, and others, who often work for months or even years on a single game. Designing video games have been around for many years and that it’s still alive today.

Life is full of choices and that the one you pick might be a good or bad life style. 2. Money signs in your eyes. If you just think about money all the time you get nowhere except being a bum.
3. Going it alone. These means you didn’t get far in your career you dreamed. That why you have a mentor.

Caring for the Big Guys

This is about large animals that need a lot of care, and that there owners have a hard time taking care of them. Now there are people out there willing to help with there horses, cows, and sometimes a giraffe. Bob rednour who runs Large Animal Veterinary Services in Youngsville, N.C, says that he helps people that need help with there large animals. So if you have an animal that needs help with their problems, you take them to go see the vet that knows what to do with large animals.
Also they work every day and that they give vaccination to a lot of animals that come for the appointments. That not all he does; he also tend wounds, diagnose diseases, treat sick animals, and help births and labor of animals. Rednour is a hard worker and he likes the job; sometimes or all the time he gets wake up/emergency calls early in the morning. He also takes care of other farm such as pigs, sheep, llamas, and goats for a large veterinary practice, and every animal should be treated with respect. They also don’t work by themselves; there are lots of people that apply for a job to help the animals.

This is a career to work in a hotel doesn’t need a college degree to get the job. All you have to be is a hard worker and trustworthy. As you get job, the people that already work there will guide you on things that you don’t get or understand. People that work in the hotel industry go up 13.9% if they get more people that have no jobs, and that will work in the hotel industry. They help many people that start work there for first timers, trainees, and part time employees. Also anybody can get the job, if they really want to work there.
People that work there are really hard workers and that they are proud to get the job. There are different kinds of occupations at different hotels, like front desk manager, room cleaner, bathroom cleaner. So if you need a job really bad you can go and work at the hotel industries. The hotel business pay you a lot for your expertise, and that can get you anywhere in the hotel jobs. Also if you just to work there for a little while, they let you and that’s a good thing, because the hotel that you’re working in needs lots of help to keep going up.

A Growing Field

This is about farmers that tell people how it is to work in the farm, and organic farming. Farming is a lot of hard work and that you get paid a lot for your hard work. Working on an organic farm is painless, but you get paid less for farming organic. Also there are deadly chemicals in planting organic farm, so it’s probably why they get paid less. Now the farming progress has gone up a few years, and now they are farming with organic materials. But farmers are still own large areas of farm land, now some of them are getting into the process of using organic materials now a days.
Now that farmers are getting the hearing the news about organic. Farming has been around for along time and it has been past down from family to family for generations. Today people that grown on the farm are less in interested in farming, because of today’s technology. Now that technology is around they ways to help the farmers crops, and now that there is a new thing called organic people that live in the big cities get into farming. That is why they are now making farms organic today.

Navigating The College Fair

A college fair is a large room full of booths with teachers or students advertising stuff about the information/answers of the colleges that college students been to and went to. Also at the college fairs students should be prepared for the college fairs, because once they graduate from high school they would already know where to apply for college. The college fairs probably only happen once in there senior year on junior year. There are many colleges to apply to; each booth has different or same school events, jobs careers, and interest/other things in the college schools.
After the presentations are over, the person that talked about the college will ask the students for any questions about the presentation and he will answer back there questions. Also they will give more information about the colleges on the phone, website, or you give them your information to contact you. At the end of the college fair you should already know which college to go after graduating from high school. There are all kinds of colleges and university’s to go to after high school. Even though your not at the same grade as seniors or juniors, you can still go to the fair and get a head start on what you can do when get in high school, like pick the classes that are required for the colleges.

Face-Off

This is about two candidates. There names are Democratic Barack Obama and Republican John McCain. Also it is talking about economy, war in Iraq, and energy. Obama is say he would lower poor and middle-class families that can not or afford to pay there taxes. The wealthy will have to pay there own taxes. Also he will bring back troops from Iraq that has been gone 18 months from office. Last he says that we should concentrate more on the sun (solar powered), wind (wind turbines), and water (hydroelectric). Obama says belief in yourself, in each other, an in the future we can build together.
John McCain is another person that is trying to be next president. McCain sees that we are running low on oil that we get from foreign countries, and McCain says we should start building more wind turbines, and more solar powered technologies. Also McCain is going to make the troops to stay in Iraq to keep on fighting. The Iraqis government and military will become weak and useless if the troops are to stay there. Last he will developed energy sources, like nuclear, solar, and wind power and it will help the environment and the people.

Fly High

This is about the experiences from a pilot’s point of view. Also its gets the readers attention that it is a job that you can learn about planes and how fast they can travel. The job a as pilot are paid in task that they finish in their daily work. There are a lot of different types of job careers as a pilot; like military, tourists, cargo planes, and some that help firefighters extinguish wildfires. They need a lot of training and experiences to learn what job they can handle and make a good job out of it.
Once they mastered the teachings from the planes they become professional or a private. When they mastered the teaching of a pilot, they go from students to teachers. Here they teach middle and high school student’s kids about the experiences of the pilot’s job and how cool it is to join as a pilot. Also they do testing in a computerized flight stimulator that how good the pilot is in his experiences. It is a good career job because it’s got a lot of history behind it. Also it well known job there are a lot of people that probably doesn’t know how to fly a plane, but there schools that teach people hoe to fly a plane.

Gobs of Green Jobs

Today people are inventing new ways to stop global warming. You here it every day, see it, and talk about what you can do to stop global warming. Now people are thinking green about the environment; like using wind turbines to power many 100,000 thousand homes, using solar panel for new homes. We are losing as lot of trees that produce in the atmosphere. Other people out are trying to stop the trees from being used a lot for the things that we use today. The president of the environmental Green economy, he says that the U.S. green industry has been growing 5%.
In the future it might help everybody if we do something right now. Scientists and environmentalists are making new vehicles that run on gas safer and affordable. If we keep using the stuff we use today it will get worse, and that’s not good because the normal sea level is going to go up; and that there are going to be stronger hurricanes. There will also be a lot of droughts happening because the earth will get so warm that it will dry out lakes and rivers. That why we should something right now to save the earth.
